Lisa D. Brooks-Edwards, 49, of Germantown Hills, passed away at 7:26 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at her parent’s residence. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Pastor Terry Goode officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to services. Lisa was born in Peoria on January 5, 1964, a daughter of Alfred and Sina J. (Dennis) Brooks of East Peoria. They survive. She is also survived by her her daughters, Tameshia M. (Tim) Smullin of Germantown Hills and Jessica Edwards of Peoria; sisters, Carolyn (Bob) Coup of Peoria and Sina (Bobby) Pirtle of Wills Point, TX; brother, Noel (Lisa) Brooks of Peoria; grandchildren, MaKayla, Lexi, Tameshia D., Tyler, Heaven and Miyah; and a host of nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Lisa was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Lisa last worked in the deli at Jubilee Foods in Germantown Hills.
